Armor must be 1000 and resistances are normally capped at 70%.

Attack power doesn't matter. If you want to see your real attack numbers, there's a testing dummy in Kyovashad, up and left behind the difficulty statue.

As your abilities are tested in the pit for you to may change your torment level, you simply don't want to die a lot there at the appropriate levels and also you may want to finish them with enough time left.

I would say that for T3 you must hit with a few millions of damage. For T4 you must have very good gear and probably masterworked at 12. It depends on your build ofc. With meta it's easier. But there are more important parameters, like critical dmg and chance, attack speed... it depends on what build you have.

Capped armor and resistances are the bare minimum. After that, you want % damage reduction. Looking up various Barbarian builds should give you ideas on what Aspects, Equipment, or Paragon nodes will help with that.

Look at the maxroll build because they explain how it works.
I also like d4builds and mobalytics.

Or look on youtube or google it until you find someone who explains how your build should work and helps you realize what you can do to not die so often.
