Is this game Pay 2 Win?
Simple question.
We got nostalgic with a friend and since we both had our old CDs of Diablo II we played it to end we wanted to try out Diablo III and IV. But as I was gathering some info about it I read about the season passes, in-game stores and the like. Plus an old post of someone complaining that the post end item sets requires you to pay to get the materials to make.

We both dislike these aproaches to gaming after having a terrible experience with the digimon game, where at some point you had to be spending 30-60 bucks monthly to be able to play.

Same as above, all purchasable items are cosmetics. There is no P2W in Diablo 4.

Same as above. I play every season. First on Battle.net, now on Steam. Never paid a dime. Not a pro player, but can usually get to pit 100.

Only cosmetics in the shop. Sure there are RMT sites but those exist outside the official game. No pay to win here. But definitely some overpriced skins. I just wait for sales if I am going to buy anything outside the battlepass as the value of the BP is very good.
The new season starts the end of April. So then would be a good time to start. Best time to start is during a sale .

actually not, or way way way less than PoE2

but in PoE2 u can buy 99% of items and Crafting material on 3th websides for real money
now think about ur wasted time, if player buy everything with real money
(Critical, severe and serious) Presently, there is pay to win outside official DIABLO IV shop, you can have purchased in-game powerful item, in-game gold, etc. outside official DIABLO IV shop. Objective is no pay to win everywhere. Pay to win had devastated DIABLO III, therefore no auction house in DIABLO IV. MICROSOFT, BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT, team and they are devastating every in-game trade, and MICROSOFT, BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT, team and they are cooking ‘every thing&item is account bound.’, for more balance, more equality, more similar gaming experience, more fairness and more no pay to win.

I have to run bnet as a non-steam game so I can get Steam's controller support into my non-steam Diablo IV because while blizzard did give you PS and XB support.. I have a universal controller that works on Switch as well, so while Steam knows it isn't a Switch Pro Controller, Blizzard can't figure it out and assumes it is and not supported. :skunk:

Hadn't you played DIABLO III since day 1 to now? Most players have not liked pay to win system. Whoever is stopping DIABLO video games to have infinite shared item slot feature, you are devastating DIABLO video games in eternal term.
