After S6 release all items are again Legacy...
That's it. I was playing about 3500 hours in game, tried seassons but felt more comfy in Eternal realm maximise my characters. Last S4 forced me to refarm gear, which took me entire summer and another ~500 hours to refarm all of items.

Now with S6 they are trash legacy items again. This is a point where I'm done. I only hope I can refund DLC preorder as I'm not going to spend another 500 hours to refarm it all from ground. Took me a Year since 2023 summer release to get all Ubers and now I'm suppose to do it all again?

Bye Bye Blizzard.

I know that for a fact. Nobody who cries this much about meaningless non-issues is actually going to quit the game when they ANNOUNCE IT TO THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD like you just did.

You don't even understand what changes the game is going through.

Also no, items are worse. How could they be better while we stop doing milions of dmg and does now thousands? I don't feel its good change. Max life reduced from 45k to 4,5k hurts a lot.

You are ignoring the fact that monster damage went from 1000 per hit down to 100... You have less health points but you don't have less effective health.

You can now play on Torment 1, which is all you need difficulty-wise to find the best items in the game (very rarely). You can chill on the low difficulty.

You don't have to push Torment 2/3/4 difficulties if you can't handle them.

You'll be totally fine, so again: see you on October 8th when you inevitably play the game anyway after you realize Season of Hatred (season 6) is even more of the fun stuff you already liked about the game.

Now you know what it feels to play Destiny 1-2 or Borderlands 3 (before it was finished getting all the dlc out, or when switching difficulties). (Destiny 2 was much worse, all your transmogs were fixed on the item itself, so you had to replace all your purple and exotic stuff with whiter/green trash, because of the power level creep, plus you lost all your cosmetic looks, with each new dlc, heard though it became better at some point for the transmogs)

Depends though, what they will do with the items stats.

I saw an example of a the new max 800, while everything 500+ something becomes 500+ legacy, anyway the max 800 item stats were basically identical to your current 925 items. If the stats on the items don't change, your eternal build will be identical.

But you should start doing seasons instead, then you will never worry about your items being redudant with a new patch/dlc, because you're starting from 0 anyway with each season.
If you're sticking to eternal only, you don't get to even experience the season only uniques, unless like in the next season they become part of main game, and then perhaps they aren't even what they were originally.

All games with gear that are a live service are like this - especially with an expansion.

This is also true of older Diablo games as well. If you had all the best uniques/legendaries pre-expansion they were all effectively rendered trash one way or another when the expack hit.

Sounds like you're just finished with Diablo 4, which if true congrats! Enjoy the next game.

I wish it wasnt end as I realy loved that game but cmon... Doing it all again? They promised items will be squished down to item power 800 but in PTR it turned out we were scamed and they are red skull items.

I feel robbed of entire year of my life... Never any game did it to me that way...

It doesn't matter if yes. It's like giving a child Lego set and then take it away with asking: "But did you enjoy it right?".
Or being dumped by Grilfriend/Boyfriend after long relationship with same question...

Did those item shrink in power and the player can't play like an end game God?

it's natural and healthy to stop relationships if they are no longer enjoyable

Legacy equipment is terrible compared to the drops from t4 on PTR. And then there are +4 more new tiers :lunar2019shockedpig:

I'm actually feeling kinda the same way.... This is the first to give me burn out from non-logical decision. I must give them credit tho... they are making everything possible to push part of their playerbase away.

So you understand the changes? You're a game dev now? Tell us how much more changes this game gonna need?

The worst is fact S4 and 5 made me realy starting to get me into grind all nights. My goal was to have all uniques of all classes. Now regrinding that all would be real pain. I wanted to move on and do DLC stuff, not do step back...

Kinda feeling bad for you, but hey, if you don't want to do the same thing over again, you got tired? - there's a lot more games worth the time! Think about your health too. Extremely grindy nights is not healthy , from personal experience I know that most of the time you won't be even rewarded for your time in this game! Diablo 4 is not way of living

Just pay $40 to watch all your items become useless like every other blizzard fanboi.
