My God the price of the DLC

62 CAD with tax...And for what? 1 class 1 zone and a bit of story that let's face it won't be winning any prizes any time soon? Are they out of their minds or what?

I am very surprised no one is mentioning this?

This will go on 50% discount within 12 month of release, if you are patient enough like me, you will be buying it for cheap. I bought base game for half off, now I have over 300hrs of gameplay and I am not planning on stopping ^^

I do have another small issue : why Rob Ferguson said that Diablo 4 is inspired from medieval Eastern Europe during Kinda Funny Games interview?
I'm from country which was 3rd superpower at some point in Europe in medieval times , being part of The Huns before that.. and yes I'm living in Eastern Europe.
Classes and environment have nothing to do with Eastern Eurpone in medieval or any time...
If someone can explain to me what Diablo 4 has to do with E.EU, I would be grateful :)))

The value is not there, that's it. With your attitude you will end up paying far more than what you can afford in your poorer economy, but hey, it's ok-ish, right?

And food should come before video games just so you know, eating out and actually having a life outside your roome too is a a nice DLC to have. If food is up well I need it to actually exist. Demand is not elastic. Video games are just entertainment, I can live a whole life without getting one. By increasing their prices like this they are just cutting off ppl who dont want to spend so much on useless pixels, all while ripping off the ''ok-ish'' people.

But I guess it is ok-ish, for real.

That's what I am planning to do anyway, I am just surprised the community is rolling over with these price hikes, but I guess you get what you deserve in the end, and I certainly did have my answer; they are getting ripped off because they like it.

That's the way the market is going because that's what people have paid for (and allowed) up until now.
Don't complain about them doing something when you, the consumer, have condoned this behavior.

This price hiking for no logical reason (and there isn't one since games don't cost more to make. They now cost LESS), is because other companies tested it, and these people are just following suit.

Really? Overwatch costed about 20 million to make 8 years ago. A similar game, Concord, just costed 200 million to make.

What 65$ horse bundle? Like I said I don't buy MTX and the only time I went on the store was to get a good chuckle at the prices. But I guess this is more or less the same argument from my pov, why in the name of Lilith is this game so expensive when the store already is? I mean these AAAA publisher's greed seems to know no limit.

They had a reskinned horse for $65 in the shop that looked dumber than the one you get for playing the game. Ended up removing it from the store because no one bought it.

Hardly. I'm extremely frugal, and it's only because I'm frugal that I don't want to spend $60 on recycled slop. Maybe you need some standards or some self-control or a dose of reality to understand the value of a dollar. The only one who's spoiled is the one bemoaning others wanting to save money.

Season 6 has been specifically mentioned in like a dozen different interviews and videos from developers combined as something free for owners of the base game, just like previous seasons. Season 6 will launch alongside Vessel of Hatred paid expansion.

D3 over 500 hours
D4 barely hit 60 when I just had enough.
Damn even a year later and Blizz barely doing the bare minimum to keep D4 fun. Nope! Not getting any $ out of me again Blizz. Waiting for POE2 and Titan Quest 2. Way too many good games out there to waste your precious time on this mediocre, uninspired, and not creative game like D4.

Or wanting more reasonable prices. Companies can't just try skinning us alive at every turn without experiencing some pushback and defending these prices just means that you're playing against your own team and ultimately playing yourself too as a consumer.
