Performance issues in game
Hi, everyone!

I bought the DLC two weeks after its release and played through the entire campaign. The game was smooth on Ultra graphics settings—no lags, no issues at all.

However, yesterday, after not playing for a while, I decided to revisit it, and now it’s lagging so badly that I can’t even ride the horse without bumping into everything.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas why this might be happening?

My PC Build:

GPU: RTX 4060
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
RAM: 32 GB DDR4
Storage: Game installed on Kingston FURY Renegade SSD (1 TB)
Internet Connection: Stable

Graphics Settings: Ultra

Game is totaly broken from the rtx update, not even mentioning crashing since the dlc update. Id recommend to check your hardware utilization when playing, also try turning off raytracing and dlss. You should pay attention to CPU and GPU utilization, same as ram and vram usage. Im guessing the temps are fine ig?

Thank you for the advice!
Disabling dlss and vertical sync helped—there are still some lags, but they’re not as severe as before, game at least is playable now. Changing other graphics settings doesn’t seem to affect perfomance. Temps ig are avg, PC case is well-ventilated

Just out of curiosity do you have the nvidia instant replay turned on? Not so long ago it started breaking.
