Barbarian weapons question!

I see how it allows me to choose which weapon will be used for certain skills ( in the ability selection screen )

Now lets say I want my Double Handed Sword to do all the abilities.... But my Mace is stronger.... Will I be doing less damage? Or is that feature strictly cosmetic

How is your 1h weapon stronger than your 2h weapon?

it all depends on your build, for example my build relys on two handers for extra crit/fury generation and extra damage with blunt weapons so i have my abilities use that

if something like double swing is your main ability or you want more attack speed you might wanna use the 1 handers and what not

so depending on your build you may want to use a certain weapon type otherwise its just cosmetic

You will be able to favor DW and want to pick the best 1w weapons. Paragon board and tempering. The 2her is just a stat stick. But you still want the best 2h you can get.
