like i told you in your other thread, please learn to read
Back to the topic.
They are not alternatives because you still need battle net account.
If diablo 4 would require only steam, that would be an alternative but it is not the case.
For example, if I buy bg3 on gog, I can safely play without any additional platform or service.
You can also buy it here on steam but requires a client to run.
That is the choice. This is an alternative.
It is the same as with ea/ubisoft games, you still need an account on another platform.
Wow, it's amazing that now we have proof this dude indeed has no reading comprehension. (Yes, I've seen that other thread.)
Look up the word "alternate" and then look up the word "alternative" and then come back to bow in gratitude for people still dealing with your posts in perfectly fine manners instead of moaning like a hurt princess.
I can totally understand the mix up here.
The OP announces that Blizz is having a 50% off sale over on B.net
And then the first response is this >>>
This response makes no sense. This is where the confusion starts.
The OP is announcing ... (emphasis on the word "Announcing") ... a fact.
And the first response is a statement that ... (even if it were true, which it's not, D4 hasn't been on sale on Steam for 50% off, it's been on sale constantly, but not at 50%) ... points something out that has NOTHING to do with the announcement.
So, the OP is talking about the Announcement but the user named "Potato" has derailed the thread into a discussion about something completely irrelevant to the announcement.
What he ment was that the game is sometimes on sale here and sometimes on BN ;-)
(Please Correct me if im wrong potato)

I hope this is helpful for everyone ;-)
"The link provided is super-helpful for a lot of other things as well when posting on Steam."
Thankls for the advise, but what do you mean by that exactly ^^
Is is a security risk?
Thats what i thought, i dont care about clean looks, only info counts for me and people who want just that dont care aswell, well i at wouldnt.
Do you know these sites wich provide a guide for a single question. It is all clean written, the problem is, they write a whole site for something that could be answered in one line.
Example: What is the code to door Nr. 13 in the game "XXX". They give you a whole site of text and somewhere at the end the code, the only thing you asked for ... :-/
I dont care about clean writting, i care about information, the link provides just that ;-)
But thanks anyway and as i said BB ;-)
