Don't waste money on D4.
Get "No Rest for the Wicked"
Or "Myth of Empires" <<< seems to be doing well.
There is also, "Last Epoch", if you haven't purchased it already.
Depends on your taste but it can be more fun than D4.
It just have more F2P gimmicks of course.
Thanks for the input. If DiabloR goes on a 90% off sale or something I might just get it then.
D4 is included in GamePass.
I think GamePass is good deal in general for who wants to try various games.
In my case, I stick on a couple games over years.
I'm with ya 100% Nicko and thanks for the sound advice. If there is someone on here who knows about infinite anything, you are surely the one. If I can hire a full team of low salaried but well meaning PC power users, after a few years I hope to have as many hours as you in video games. I will train my team to run games 24/7.
Eventually my team will be able to match not only your epic skill but also your game time of over a zillion hours in hunting, fishing, Magic the Gathering, and generic F2P card games. Who wants to go outside and catch a real fish these days anyways? I understand you completely. There can be horrible things outside like religious zealots, pesticides and animal dookee.
I will train my team to have the same amount of willpower that you have...surely it was the countless hours spent in some of the most boring games ever that helped to mentally prepare you to get so much excitement from Diablo IV.
Does discussion forum time also get included with game time? If not, you should petition Steam to include your forum time with your game time so that you immediately get credited for an additional 300 hours in Diablo IV alone plus all the other games where your invaluable commentary has been shared.
Your commentary is so valuable. Can you include a link where I can purchase a signed copy of your book? Oops I mean do you have any official writing published? If not you could definitely write an entire book about video game fishing and correlate it to mashing swaths and swaths of Diablo skeletons and other basic mob reskins with a single mouse button. I hope someone is paying you. Writers can negotiate contracts to get paid per page and you have volumes worth of text spammed onto these forums.
If they aren't paying you I suggest you make your own magazine, like Nintendo Power had back in the day. If some kid needs help catching a virtual fish or gets one shotted by an elite tree monster in Diablo, you are the one who they should immediately call for tips. I just think you deserve something tangible for your epic skill and the more than a full time jobs worth of hours that you put into mediocre gaming plus commentary. Good luck and keep the production value strong.
Congrats and heres to you making it to 1000 hours in Diablo IV. Cheers
I am sorry if there was a misunderstanding, I am not trying to attack you at all. I was trying to find some information on the game and I kept coming across your huge text walls of postings in the forum. Anyone who lists hundreds and hundreds of quantitative hours that they have spent in various games on a steam forum is a true hero of the people. I was trying to create the largest wall of text I could in order to emulate you. Sorry if my meager 6 short paragraphs was lacking in effort compared to the detailed comprehensive books you have published on steam forums. The sparseness was not intended to offend in any way at all.
By the way, my team was just conscripted and I have started training them. They are an extremely dedicated group of former Burj Khalifa poop truck drivers from Dubai. They will each be earning a wage of 2£ per day after their expenses are deducted so get ready for some stiff competition. Lets see who will be the first to reach 10,000 hours in Diablo.
Cheers
