(My playtime on Steam is low because I only recently swapped from bnet to Steam)
I was in the wrong though. The ultimate doesn't include the base game so I won't be converting to Steam at this time. (That's what I get for trying to look at one of those charts on my phone.)
It does work/link. You can see D4 achievements on my steam profile and I've only played on Steam during a free weekend but characters, DLC, etc all carry over.
temper & masterwork are not even guaranteed to be in the DLC. lol
but a different game created almost 15 years ago by another team meant too much for me, so I'm cursed to buy a soulless simulacrum under the same name again and again

Everybody I know quit well before this drop, and not a single person got excited for more.
It's a great cash grab though. $90 makes up for more than one person droppin off, so they can safely lose a fat chunk of the player base and still see a net gain cause Blizz, somehow forgetting how to make a decent game, has perfected marketing to morons.
