How's the game?
Ive been looking for a good ARPG but I literally have no luck as a newcomer

Path of Exile is not beginner friendly, requires alot of readings rather than jumping into action, and if you want a build, PREPARE to read guides. I don't have alot of time for this, free time or not.

Last Epoch you level up fast and it doesn't feel semnificant.

I only like Borderlands 3 so far, but the game's story sucks but atleast the gameplay loop is good

How's Diablo IV? I can ignore the story but I just wanna make builds

it's amazing

May I recommend grim dawn or diablo 2 resurrected. Diablo 4 isn't great imo and fixing some aspects wont fix the imo at best mediocre core.

Diablo 4 is pretty looking, but lacks build variety, end game content and the loot reborn helps make it better but not by much.

As Gabi mentioned, if you are looking for a fantastic ARPG, Grim Dawn is a great alternative right now.

This. If you want to make builds that are fun and don't want a guide, D2R or Grim Dawn. Grim Dawn easily has the most build flexibility with the mastery and devotion system alone, and their third expansion is coming out this year (and will likely be on sale for that release).

That said, leveling really slows down in Last Epoch after you hit about level 70 or so. Might speed up if you can push corruption in empowered monoliths, but I've not really tried that yet.

Grim Dawn and the DLC for it are both good and can be bought at reasonable prices. Blizzard/Activision is ♥♥♥♥ now and though D4 has it's good or strong points, the core of the company and this game have major flaws, such as microtransactions, always online and for some the builds are not up to par. Basically they've concentrated on making a game to make money, not making a great game and then it will naturally make money.

Should be fine solo, game isnt that bad; replay value isnt as high but still ok.. If you already played the heck out of d3, grim, titanq, etc games.

Main campaing is great, but the end game still is a struggle. Only 3 or 4 builds are fully able to explore the end game and deal with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ one shot bosses, leveling has become better, but as mentionated by others, the game lacks build variety, people are constantly using the same builds over and over again. It has poor balancing, many, many useless affixes and legendary effects, and now with tempering, many many pointless tempering attributes. For every fix blizzard does, they introduces another issue.

Have I mentioned how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is the fact that people sell and buy important items with real money? Yes, and it is even worse than games like POE, the discrepancy is astounding, and blizz does nothing regarding that.

This game is a poor rip off, of Last Epoch, just play that instead.

D4 is amazing. I bought it discounted on steam while I bought it full price on xbox on release. Cross platform save and play for the win.

Sounds like D4 may be for you

If you didn't like Last Epoch due to leveling up fast, then D4 probably is not for you. Least in D4 season 4 (current season) you can level pretty fast without really trying.

As someone else suggested maybe Grim Dawn or D2R is more what looking for.

Except D2R has old mechanics by now and only lives from its nostalgia for D2, which new people won't have, and Grim Dawn is boring...

Its really good. Good luck with Lilith, pretty much impossible.

Completely disagree.

Diablo 4 needs a few years and a few expansions before it comes around.
