Still no local coop?
Is there still no local multiplayer for PC? I like to play locally with my real friends. In Minecraft Dungeons 4 local players works insanely well, what's so hard about it for this game?

local coop is not needed since the game is online only, unless you mean someting like a splitscreen, then thats a different story of course.
no, they said something about technical difficulties with 2 pc battle net accounts on one pc

Why not needed? Other games offer this too and it's just nicer to play together with friends or family instead of online! By the way, there is local co-op in the console version:

"Diablo 4 supports local co-op play for two people on the console versions of the game. This means that couch co-op is available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4 players. The Windows PC version, however, does not have support for local co-op play."
OK, we need to get somebody at Microsoft right away!
He cracked it! local co op incoming!
Not buying it till it gets local coop like the console version. No reason to play this game solo.

The issue isn't the need to play with friends. The issue is the game is so bad that you can't have fun playing alone.
I'd be happy with any co-op. But there is none outside of the world bosses and helltide boss.

It's pretty much single player experience, unfortunately :lunar2019shockedpig:

(yet if you really have friends - there is functionality to invite people and run instances together, but still online because offline = piracy which is a big no-no)
Why do they think anyone would want to pirate this lol....
Yeah, Local Coop on Console but not on PC?!?!

What genius at Blizzard rationalized that decision?

Blizzard Dev:

"...I don't know, people hooking up a gaming PC to a modern big screen TV
just does'nt sound right..."

Meh, no money spent on this until there is local coop for PC

D
D4 not having local coop on PC is criminal and a missed opportunity. I'm playing Rotwood with my wife atm and it's great. Both of our characters have separate progression. PoE2 will also have PC couch coop, which will greatly decrease my time in D4. We'll both very likely be switching to that. Blizzard as of late has been catering too much to console peasants.

Yep they managed to always allow them to be local co op on console but never pc im sick of companies gate keeping couch co op on pc.
Also a big fan of local couch co-op on PC. I don'r own a PS5 ou XBOX so i play co-op locally with my girlfirend on pc hooked in my lg oled c1 48". The fact that Blizzard insists on not providing something fairly easy for them to do since they already have this option in consoles make me want to stay away from blizzard and microsoft. Not buying this ♥♥♥♥ game unless they make a co-op splitscreen
You can split screen in Grim Dawn with a mod but it takes some doing.
Path of Exile 2 supports couch co-op on PC
I see it's on sale, but I'm not buying it until it has Couch Co-Op on the PC version too.
I very much want to play with my partner on my one PC and I don't appreciate being treated poorly just because I'm using a PC.
