Playing on 1080p, high res texture pack worth it?
Haven't started playing yet but I'm running 1080p dk if the texture pack is worth the extra 40gb, have a 3060 12gb vram with i5 11400f 32gb ram. Thank you.

you not gonna see much difference in 1080p, high res is only recommended if playing on 4k

Those for 4K UHD, go to the properties==> DLC ==> remove High-Resolution Assets.
It will just take your hardware space and your CPU and GPU will get heated up easily. And your CPU and GPU are not fully supported for 4K UHD.

i read somewhere that the game runs better with it installed?
i'm not sure if thats true though.

No, that's not true. I checked your CPU and GPU. If you have high frequency rate of monitor, you will get more frames of FHD 1080.

Just played a little bit and the game still looks great, running on ultra and getting over 100 frames seems to be well optimised, only had 1 small jaggie line which was on a piece or armour or clothing the guy was wearing, will play some more later. Was definitely the right choice removing it for 40gb

in case, whatever updated windows, graphic card's driver and Diablo IV, please do verify Diablo IV for each time. You will get the better results.
