Does no one use chat in game?
It's eerily quiet in game, I almost never see people chatting unless it's a gold seller bot.
This is on World Tier 3.

i do not chat with others i login i do some content i log off, the only people i ever see talking are the ones selling mats or the ones complaining about how much those mats cost

There's more chat in WT4 but not much. Join a clan, make a party and add friends. Diablo player are pretty social and friendly but there's not much to say if it's just between randoms not playing together.

I see a few, some are trying to sell/trade items, some gold farmers selling gold, and a couple once in a while that ask for help running one thing or another in game.

There are limited 15-20 players in instance where you play and only local chat, so you can chat with those 15-20 people. It's mostly dead chat, I never seen people chat. But good thing about that game is smooth, no clutter of characters in town/heltides, no lag or crash even on first minutes of season log in is instant

even MU ONLINE has much more...

next year is MMO Reborn . We will get bar to say Dugen is reseted....

Yeah, modern games made chatting a less desirable, I usually login and keep an eye for it, sometimes I feel bored and start few meme jokes but things dies quickly.

Of course they die quickly in a heavily censored and moderated chat. Why bother when you can't type what you want anyways.
