Can I have my ghost dog back?

Found an altar and get followed by a ghost dog. I find it very adorable, but now he is gone. Can I get him back? Maybe permant?

Sadly you can't.

Not having pets (that would totally sell pet skins) is a huge missed opportunity.

Actually they already exist. If you preordered this game you got a back trophy that spawned a wolf cub around you.

And I believe there wwas a reskin available around christmas that gave like a bear cub or weasel pet?

There's a couple of other similar items but the pet stays in the 'trophy' carrier on your back so its only those two instances that gave you a cosmetic pet... but they still existed.

Okay, thank you :) I bought the game a few weeks ago, so no pet for me :) But whats the point of the ghostdog shrines? Where do you I have to bring them?

The Wolf was for reaching Level 20 in the Beta. A reskin of the wolf is indeed available in the shop, but it's Rogue only.

Some other pets for the backpack do exist, sadly all class specific. And not really following you around.
