Create account to create account shenanigans

Any game that requires another separate account to play will not get my support.
Just bought a new Diablo IV Xbox Series X bundle and requires a battle.pass account to play.. nope not going to happen.
I made a steam account to play games on steam not make a steam account to make another game account for every game on steam.

battle.net account. And yes, the game requires one, no matter where you buy it.

you only need to link ur Bnet to steam once..
and it doesnt require bnet launcher
so writing this.. post..
most likely took you longer then making a bnet account and linking it

Oh sure, another account to keep track off. Another company to have my email address. Another data site most likely to be breached. Another launcher that requires another login. Another password to change every 6 months. Another company to accidentally loose your account and say to bad. Another game to be ripped off and unable to purchase again on steam after email gets messed up. Another debacle in this industry. Another shill saying its not that bad.

I am surrounded by over a thousand physical games across many generations of console systems. Every single one can be played without this BS. But i understand the ever revolving 12 year old player base that gets added into the churn every year not knowing what freedoms they will never know perpetuating this cycle of regression.
I didn't buy the diablo xbox bundle system for myself but rather for a 100% disabled veteran that can't keep up with many accounts. This product and these industry practices that are accepted by the current player base are a disease. It is very painfull to watch this unfold & see him not play the game he wanted.

Like the headline implies, its the creation of a second account for every game that just wants it. His xbox account has been around since the 360 days.

A better what, corporate answer? I think we all know what that gets everyone. I defend the Service Member and the disabled. If I see first hand harmful industry practices I have an obligation to speak out. You have your right to your opinion such as everyone else and THAT is what they rightfully fought AND died for.

AB is owned by Microsoft, you have Xbox so you most likely have MS Account so MS already know your Email. Not playing D4 because of reason like that is just silly.
