Game starting bug

Hi. I have a problem. The game starts only few times. After i quit from game and I enter a few minutes later the game do not want to start. It says RUNNING and nothing happened. I restart the PC and again the same problem. I uninstalled the game and install again. The problem is the same even I quit from steam account and enter again. Only after I restart the PC the game want to work again. What can I do about this? It is a bug? Or is some background processes that where not closed by the game?

if it says the game is running that usually does mean there is some process still active in the background.

Definitely a background process. You can stop that process by going into your steam, if it says running there should be a stop icon as well. If there isn't for whatever reason then you need to open Task Manager and close the process yourself.

These solutions though are just temporary fixes and this will probably happen again next time you open your game. I'm not sure what the real problem is, this hasn't happened to me before. How are you quitting the game? Are you leaving from the main menu or are you just hitting Alt+F4?

Thank for reply. I quit normally the game, from quit to menu or exit to desktop.
I search before to open this discussion in task manager if I can see some process which is related to the game and found nothing. I search on internet and nothing. Thank you for your time to reply me.

same happens to me and I found out AVAST is blocking my Diablo 4 everytime I start it I have to disable AVAST.

Thank you very very much. Wow. I solved the problem. You are very right. I disable Avast only for 10 minutes until I enter in game, and it works. Thanks a lot.
