Permanently reconnecting to diablo IV but still playing like normal

I have been having lags and disconnects yesterday and the day before and I get this reconnecting message at the top left corner yet I am playing online and see people moving around. This happens even when I am not lagging. Ping is around 70. Is there a way of choosing server region or something? I can´t believe they make everyone play on the same server, 70 ping isn´t bad but it isn´t great either. I am located in a nordic country.

I don´t think it is necessarily my connection because everything seems to work perfectly when I play a fps game and I got a solid landline.

Edit: I need to restart the game to make it go away. Also why is it that both leave game and exit diablo buttons close the client. is there no option to go to character select screen?

Leave Game goes to the charcter select. Usually.
