I can't blame blizzard for offering this if people are lame enough to follow through.
I'd rather have a subscription than those macrotransactions...
Unfortunately, there is nothing else terribly interesting in the store and Blizz do not discount the currency (like it's done in Warframe) so there is nothing more left to buy
As Sorc is my favourite class I am disappointed with the fancy dresses for my male character. Who thought those were a good idea.
so before microtransactions in full price games, games just made no money right all the studios were destitute? Also no one asked them to make it a live service they did that on their own, i specifically didnt want it to be a live service.
Microtransactions were kinda needed, lots of MMORPG/MMO devs have died. But this sell stupid overpriced cosmetic items doesnt help either. It might work for Blizzard as they are so popular and people are willing to throw money at them, but not for all.
I thikn they gotta give money to players to get the money flow. RMAH was op the right track, but poorly implemented, players exploited the AH.
You can earn the shop currency on your dayjob.
