Somebody stop me! I Can Not Stop Playing on Hardcore Mode!

There has to be something wrong with me. I've lost 3 characters that I love and this final one should have made me put the game down. But then what do I do?
I keep coming back and making another hardcore character.

Here is my serious question. Is there a way to delete characters in my Hall of Fallen Heroes?
I have one character I love making and I don't want to see him listed in my fallen heroes.

His name is Skarsgård and I don't want to see 50 dead clones of him since it doesn't look like I'm going to get over this mental issue anytime soon.

Well I suppose I was here to see if I can delete my guy from the Hall of Fallen Heroes.

I'm going to remake him. I didn't want him to permanently die, I get a rush from all the close calls, but I just want to pretend I didn't lose him.

My one and only HC character is level 71...I think I made it that far because I was scared lol

But yea I have all the statues and all renown so I ain't going back...and I imgaine if I loose a character it's because I got too loose from being use to HC...I almost died twice last night(like a hair line of health and no cooldowns) because I was too comfortable going into WT 4...BL sorc wipes ♥♥♥♥ out quick but they can get squishy AF if you run out of barrier and your toon isn't fully realized yet.

adrenaline is addicting, i've lost hundreds of characters in diablo 2, some died by corpse explosion, some by iron maiden curse in 1.9, some by aura of fanaticism + amp curse, some by bone fetish, some in solo hell ancients, some died by players. my first character in diablo 3 was hardcore, who i beat hell with on my first playthrough. i saw a lot of people die near me being chased by those charging ramming monsters in stronghold and myself almost died to wallers couple of times, but i really hated in diablo 3 that you can't tp out or alt+f4 on bosses. I don't know if diablo iv is different in that regard and I'm too old for that, I mean in diablo 2 I could lose a character I played for a year that had expensive rune words completed from hundreds of hellforges. i wish they could add some features for hardcore, like emergency button that you can press when you are locked or going to die to tp back to town instantly, maybe just with long cooldown, it still wouldnt be easy considering the diablo 2 had alt+f4 life saver.

also you need to look into * Scroll of Escape * like asap.

I haven't found any Scrolls of Escape.
Is that only a tier 4 item? Seeing that you suggest tier 4.

Just lost my favorite Barbarian again while trying to play him like he's lvl 46. It might be because I didn't put his warpaint on correctly though so Im going to apply that now and pretend I didn't lose him for the umm-teenth time.

Scrolls of Escape. drops when you are above level 20 and is a white item that drops from random mods and if picked up is placed in your consumable tab.

droprate should be the same on all world tiers.

so maybe you picked it up but did not notice it.

the reason i mention world tier 4 for Duriel is that the items that drop from that boss is just so much higher item power and the risk of doing Guriel before you have a solid build / resists / damage is just not worth it.

I think they are talking about campaign Duriel. You definitely don't have to wait until WT4 to kill him
