chat doesn't work

Chat doesn't work for me. I can send messages myself, but I don’t see messages from players in the global chat. I only see private messages. Please, help.

Have you checked if you disabled local chat in the settings?

Sure, my friends write messengers and I don’t see them. We tested that

Party messages and private massages I saw. But in local chat didn’t see

for the few 100 hours i played this steaming pile of s*** on bnet i saw 1 guy talk in town

in the worldboss areas it tends to happen more atleast it did when i played

Well it is an action rpg and not a chat room so it makes sense people just want to pound demons and vampires into the dust no?

There is a trade/global chat to my knowledge. However, it doesn't work for me. There are people selling mats etc in it. I just cant access it for some reason.

They can but they don't want to.
A few days into Season 2 the "duriel rota" spam was constant.
Thank god most people would rather be left alone and avoid using chat at all costs.

Also thank god spambots have no place in this game. Those were the worst part of Lost Arc.

Pretty sure the chat has never worked on Steam. Only works on BNet from what I saw in discussions before.

It turns out that I bought the game for a lot of money, but did not receive full functionality. Because it is extremely important for me to see what people are selling. For example, things for Duriel. And thanks for sharing the information. I won’t make any more purchases on Steam from third-party companies.

The chat is working in both versions. It's just nobody using it in your instance of 12 or so people that are loaded in. I had enough of that in the beginning of the second season. Constant searches for Duriel rotas or trade requests for Duriel mats. And it was on the Steam version. It just died down.
I am so so so so glad that there is no global chat with constant spam.

Chat works for me I'm on steam.. but yeah PPL are too busy most of times.. before u can type they would have left.. boss fights last 1s now so no talk there.. only place I do see PPL chat sometimes are near seasonal blood hunt ritual site where u have to place 150 blood lure..
