error code 400

i bought the 100$ edition just to be met with hey you can't play this game because you can't login any help would be greatly appreciated

Can't find anything on just "error code 400", sure there was not some more numbers to it, or some other description? Maybe give us a screenshot of the error message?

Other than that, the only D4 error codes I could find that start with 400 are

So maybe this helps, checking your Bnet account settings (you still need if you buy the game via steam) regarding verification or parental controls (both Bnet and Steam).

The general error code 400 is a HTTP "bad request" response from a server, meaning it cannot/willnot process a client's request due to a problem within the clients request.

Again, maybe some more information if this does not help.
Btw. all info aquired with a simple google search in a couple of mins, just for future reference...

okay so none of those links worked also what it says in game is "there was a problem logging in. (code: 400)" so yeah idk what is going on with it i can't find anything on the topic

Well, did not try the links actually, just copied that part from icyveins, but what about going into your battlenet account manually and look up those stuff?

Anyone ever find a solution to this? I'm having the exact same issue. Might just refund the game at this point

So, I found somewhat of a solution. I downloaded the Battle.net app, then signed up for an actual account (rather than signing in through Steam or PlayStation) with them and had that running while I started up the game. This appears to be fixing that error for me at least. I hope this helps!

Hey so I think I found the fix for this. What you need to do is create a battle net account and connect your steam account to it. There is a option in the account settings called connections and you just login into steam through there. It should fix it. I think this happens as a way for people to not pirate the game without having a battle net account but then they don't tell people.
