I can't play it on blizzard account since the game was a gift on steam. If I go on the blizzard client, it just asks me to buy the game.

Nope, you cannot play it on bnet if you only bought it on steam or was gifted on steam. It instead asks for you to buy the game again to play it on bnet.

Oh Blizzard, having lost me quite a few months ago as a customer for WoW and D3 because of your annoying launcher and hassle to play under Linux,

I gladly became a customer again once D4 became available on Steam as that gave me a hassle free install on Linux without the Blizzard launcher faff.

And now, you disappoint, again, by forcing customers to be online even when playing solo yet your backend does not give me five nines of service access. (I have been unable to play for the last 6+ minutes) :-(

If this on-line requirement remains in place and you drop below three nines (aka I really hope I can play D4 by Saturday morning CET) then I do not see me purchasing any game from you in the future,

How do you know it's a Blizzard problem and not steam license servers? Battlenet people seem not to have any problems

I tried emailing steam directly but it said the email is no longer being monitored and redirects me to the same game support options which... redirects me to diablo 4 site forums which has admin saying to contact steam support. Good job endless loop.
