How to install hd texture pack

hi guys,

i've just downloaded the game but am wondering whether the hd texture pack is also installed or not. How can one tell whether this is the case?

The size of the game is about 85 GB on Steam, that should be with the high-res assets included. Opposed to the 45 GB without the assets on Battlenet. There isn’t even an option to toggle them off on Steam (yet?), sadly.

AM wondering the same as I'm having annoying momentary freezes with anything involving UI like going through inventory. It's super slow and I've read that enabling and/or disabling this texture pack potentially could fix the issue. Alongside that music and sound effects like to randomly cut out for a second or two which I assumed was due to me using spatial audio (DTS:X) but it persisted after disabling and restarting the game. womp womp.
