Data retrieval error

Out of a sudden the game won't start and I get the Data retrieval error. Any ideas?

Just verified file integrity so I guess ir was either the update that broke yhe game or Blizzard are having server issues.

same issue here, little update, then data retrieval error, my network i fine, checking integrity says all good, game folder is indeed 40 GB smaller though

Same thing here guys. Noticed that the game went from 80 something gb to 45. Uninstalled and re-downloading the same 45 gb now.

did the update delete files for you guys too ? after verifying its showing success but diablo 4 is just 47 gigs now ? what just happened ??? hello my game wont start too
