What carries over to a second character on the Eternal Realm?
So, my first character (a Storm Druid) is approaching the Lv50 mark, which means its time to start thinking about what to do next: continue into the postgame grind (though considering I'm Lv38 and have only finished Acts 1 and 2, its not like I'm lacking for story content), or start a new character for variety.

When it comes to a new character on the Eternal Realm, I've seen conflicting reports as to what carries over. I presume Statues of Lilith, Legendary Aspects, World Progress (i.e. potions and skill points), and unlocked transmogs do, but does anything else. Are things like sidequests, waypoints, and the like reset, so I can do them for XP on the new character as well? I refuse to make a character on the Seasonal Realm; I hate FOMO grind and I like that the Eternal Realm DOESN'T have a battlepass or relock my progress every few months.

Statues of Lilith - Yes
Legendary Aspects - No
World Progress (i.e. potions and skill points) - Yes
unlocked transmogs do - Not sure, but I don't think so. (May depend on unlock method)
sidequests - Probably not? Those are character dependent.
waypoints - The major hubs will, but not the out-of-the way ones AFAIK. (That's how it works for new Seasons as those unlocks are now account-bound. I assume they use the same conventions.

so I can do them for XP on the new character as well? - Yes, as above, I think the quests should be reset once, on that character's first port over into that new "realm." (Unsure, havne't checked my own)

You can test some of these with a throwaway character created in the Season. Just do a couple of quests, click a Statue, etc, then transfer. (I don't think there's a level requirement for that.)

That's your choice. You don't have to buy a battlepass to get the Seasonal Content and, to be honest, Seasonal Content is "where its at" as far as continuing interest for the game. You will not get Seasonal Content on Eternal Realm. But, you may get some vanilla patches, like the sub-bosses introduced with the new Season. Seasonal content is a one-and-done addition, until they're in pure maintenance mode like Diablo 3. Yes, you have to start over, but that can be fun if you're still a fan of the game.

On other things - Seasonal items like special gear for the season and the like, will not transfer. Your items that will transfer will only remain in Temporary Stash Tabs for thirty days, IIRC. After that, they "poof" and are lost if you haven't transferred them to your regular Stash. (I've had some perfect rolls poof by now, but it's not like I really care that much.) I don't know how items that have had stat changes work. Unlike previous games and those of others, it seems as if Blizz has a master database that will force items to their new versions whenever there is a change. So, no cool "broked OP uber-items." :(

So if Legendary Aspects don't carry over, is there any reason to do dungeons that give Aspects that aren't compatible with my class / build?
