Diablo IV detected corrupted data and was unable to automatically repair the damage

Two types of crash have bothered me a lot since I bought the game. The first was solved after following this hero's tips: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2344520/discussions/4/3877095199997362125/

But the second one...
"Diablo IV detected corrupted data and was unable to automatically repair the damage. Please run Scan and Repair using the Battle.net Application. It can be found in the options menu for the game".

I've tried all the obvious things: checking steam file integrity, running the sfc and dism commands, update GPU drivers, creating Diablo IV exceptions in Kaspersky, disabling Kaspersky completely... Nothing works.

Sometimes Steam finds errors in two files (I don't know what they are) and fixes them. Other times it says everything is fine and then crashes.

Sometimes I play for hours, sometimes the crash occurs more than once in a few minutes.

The Windows event viewer shows absolutely nothing. No errors in the system or application logs during the game crash.

HDR: on

Check verify files and integrity is one file corrupted

I found the problem for data corruption and believe me... HDR
I turned HDR off in the graphics menu and that's it!

It's happened to me each time the game was patched. I verified the game integrity and that fixed it the first time... I'm running the second verify and hopefully it fixes it the second time too. Kind of annoying that it seems like every time there is a patch my game gets corrupted.

For those asking how I solved it, I responded the day after the initial post. In my case the problem was HDR. After turning it off I never had corrupted files again.

Unfortunately I can't mark my own answer as a solution in the thread.

It's not HDR mode, I'm getting this error randomly, every time after it steam doing files check. Unplayable game, spending hours to watch this crap. So blizzard...

Needed to come ♥♥♥♥ on your ridiculous error because MULTIPLE people are saying they had the same one, including myself, and yet you blame one person instead of the game.

I love Diablo 4, but it’s been an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game performance wise since launch. I still have a memory leak that the only thing I haven’t tried is DDU, then redownloaded the game today and got this error, scan and repair game files did nothing.

This game has been broken so many ways since launch it’s unreal,
