Targeted 44% D4 discount offers? Why not make the for everyone?!

I picked up D4 on Steam on 10/20 with a 25% discount on all D4 tiers. My brother got an email, on 11/1, offering up to 44% discount, with the base game costing $39.99. Thirty freaken nine dot ninety-nine. WHAT THE HELL, BLIZZARD!!! Its been less than 2 weeks. I purchased the top tier. Refund me that difference on Steam. My brother says there is no way he is paying for D4 after what he has heard. I would have to buy the game for him and attempt to coax to play the game. However, even that may not be enough to get him to play the game.

How the hell is he getting a bigger discount offer than me? You guys are really effing up!

You wonder why people are walking away from Blizzard completely. It is crap like this. Refund me that difference on Steam, PLEASE. You have my contact info. so it isn’t hard to send me an email. I’ll buy him the base game with the difference as a gift. Hopefully it will get him in the game. It was because of him that I got into Diablo 2.

For those of you who don’t know or just might be interested. The offer in my brother’s email says that it will last until 11/14/23.

Your brother's account has a large amount of time in Diablo games, but hasn't bought Diablo 4 yet? Highly unlikely he'll buy it. The deep discount is an attempt to get him to open his wallet.

Yeah. Which ever youtube and twtich streams he's watched have turned him off to D4. If they are trying to get him to open his wallet, Blizz will need to do more than push a email offer. As of right now its been less than 2 weeks. Refund me the difference on Steam and I'll use it to buy the game for him. The email offer isn't going to cut it.

I live in Argentina. Blizzard prices their games in ARS (and at an insanely high rate, may I add).

Tried this game once more during the battle.net free weekend, got the 40-ish discount... but the offer is USD only. For real - they have a separate landing page billing us directly in USD, for this specific offer.

I'm having a hard time watching a company go the extra mile on being scummy. They could have got a sale if they gave us said 44-ish percent discount to everyone, on every platform.

But no, they want people to buy it in their own app still, despite already being on steam. They don't want to resign Valve's cut, while also being the same people pushing the new $70 agenda.

Screw this company. and curse the day the OG Blizz gang signed that doomed contract with them.
