D4 is not that bad

Things like artificially slowing down progress, because they believe that if people play game longer they will be more willing to buy macrotransactions.

Not at all. I played D2 when it first launched. I've played PoE for years. Grim Dawn, Last Epoch, Titan Quest. All of those games have their issues. D4 actually has solid feeling combat compared to all those games. Way better sound and visual design. I'm not saying D4 doesn't have issues but it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

People wont review bomb it, people will give their opinion. If the majority of the people dislike it, than the majority of the reviews will be negative and vice versa.

Honestly: This D4 is by FAR the worst of the series. There are very good reasons why >90% of the playerbase has abandoned it. Its so empty, sometimes people have to do worldbosses alone. Even the streamers all moved on to other (far better) games.

Why do think that is? Cause the game is "solid" and "good"? Or because 90% of the people are haters?
The reason is: The game is bad designed, at its core.

And the worst thing is that there is no improvement in sight. According to the latest dev blog they have NOT adressed any major problems... just added some QoL.

The game in its current state is barely a beta and feels more like Early Access.

For me personally D4 was the point where I've completely lost faith in Blizzard.
Its not what Blizzard (North) once was and it will never be again.

I totally disagree. D3 and Immortal are far worse. D3 was awful and unplayable for many years. They addressed alot of things during the last live discussion. Like adding more stash space ect.

I enjoyed playing season 1 Necro. Like yeah once you hit 100 it's kind of done but in the future they will definitely add more end game content.

I have no clue what the hell you're talking about here. Artificially slowing progress? You mean making a game that has a progression system? like an ARPG? Yeah, that usually happens that you need to play the game to get rewards in it. What a novel concept.

At this point, come Season 2, the complaints are getting ridiculously exaggerated and made up. You guys lost the plot a long time ago. You wouldn't be able to defend your position in a debate.

Microsoft doesn't own Activision Blizzard as of today, and I don't see the problem with Diablo 4 being made by Blizzard. It's a good game, so Blizzard can't be that bad.

Also the campfire chats are awesome.

Do NOT hide behind the meek "majority" argument. You do not have majority. The whole idea behind review bombing is that a vocal MINORITY gangs up in an effort to do it.

If it was majority, it wouldn't be review bombing anymore. The game would just be bad.

We know for a fact most of the mfers spamming 0/10 reviews on Metacritic for Diablo 4 were acting in bad faith. That website doesn't protect against bad actors, just like Steam doesn't protect free 2 play games (Overwatch 2) against bad actors.

There's no shot you would say Diablo 4 was at any point a 2/10 game with a straight face.

You guys love to conflate the game's popularity dying off with the game being bad. If that's the case, vast majority of critically acclaimed games are trash. Right?

Yeah, monopolies aren't good for anyone. But at the end of the day I think D4 will continue to improve.
