Some much needed advice to you younger Diablo Gamers

Veteran Diablo gamer here
I played Diablo way back in 1997 before most of you were even born.
Too many of you new Diablo gamers are complaining way to much in these forums and in general about Diablo IV while at the same time wasting way to much time playing Diablo IV.

I'm a responsible dad and a successful breadwinner caring about my family. And I'm telling you there is nothing more important to a real man in life than finding a good wife, establishing a family and building the economy of this great nation.

As a Diablo Dad I quit Diablo IV 3 months ago. Bought a new car, I have an amazing pregnant wife, I make a s**tload of money and I'm buying a new house this autumn. We party with our neighbors every weekend. I never neglect my social responsibilities. I'm enjoying life.
Do yourselves a favor. Stop criticizing everything about Diablo IV and every decision Blizzard makes.
Gaming is not your career. It's cringe af.

By all means buy Diablo IV again on Steam and enjoy playing every now and then, but remember that Diablo is not your whole life.
Sometimes you need to get outside and touch grass. Work hard on improving yourself and start contributing to your local community.

Sounds like a game for casual working dads. You're probably right though, I heard you do waste your time as the game is designed to penalize you for farming with no breaks by lowering drop percentages the longer you play.

Responsible people don't waste money buying the same game multiple times, especially if they have a family and dependants, especially a game they haven't even played in a long time because of real life issues. I'm sure those extra $70 would be much better spent buying some books for your kids.

You didnt have a car, a wife a kid when you played diablo in 1997, so your argument falls mute. furthermore, by spinning this trash of as positive you are killing any chance of future gamers like yourself the happy childhood you had playing games that were created for you by studios that cared, were there werent teams of psychologists on thepay roll trying to nickle and dime you.

How about you rather promote a better gaming future so youths can experience what you once did when you were young huh?. Games like POE, like baldurs gate 3, or diablo 2 ressurected.

Our gamer generation (back when we were young) in the 80s, 90s and early 00s, we didn't use that much energy constantly criticizing developers and publishers.
We played many different games.
If there was something we didn't like about a game we took a break and tried something new. Then came back to the game later on to give it a second chance.

We did not spend our time bi*ching about it online.

I feel like many of the worst gamers these days those who are complaining about the same game they play over and over again, are the same gamers who stopped playing different videogames when World of Warcraft came out and only played that game for years.

Many of you remind me of that YouTuber Asmondgold. Just plain bi*ching all the time.

also as a long time player, who has been playing since starcraft/broodwar and original D2/D1 and older, coming to steam brings nothing new or worth paying a second time for a game, especially ones that arent even good, in comparison to their older titles.

also, as a player who knows what all the older players who still continue to play D2/D2R (of which both can be modded as well) these days, i can confirm, the older players dont care about D3 and D4 at all.

that all being said, if you already own it, just play on blizzard, you arent getting anything extra by paying double.
