Replying to this whole list as most of what the OP said is actively being fixed and the new patch notes and last night's 2 hour dev stream confirmed fixes for all this, or at least confirmed it's being looked into:
Quality of Life
Stash space - there simply isn't enough stash space
*They are giving more stash space
Always needing to go town and sell loot halfway through dungeons
*Don't pick up ♥♥♥♥ you don't need, and they are converting trash drops at higher world tiers straight to crafting mats
No loot filter
*Not yet, but you will be able to search the stash, and they are adding better comparisons for stats on equiped and the item you are looking at
UI that leaves much to be desired
*UI is being worked on
Re-spec paragon levels becomes a click fest

No skill+paragon presets for easier build swaps
*Not yet, but will be in the future
Vendors are all over towns
*They are putting more stashes in towns and moving the obol vendors closer to the spawn point
No transparent map overlay

Early game resource / spirit / mana regeneration is boring resouce skill spam
*Same as every RPG
Renown system implemented in game
*Now once and done - no need to grind it after first completion
No trading chat in game
*Being implemented due to tradeable materials coming in S2
No world chat in game
True - but who wants to listen to all that spam?
Items stacking to very small amounts
*True, however gems are becoming crafting shards so no more stacking multiple stacks of gems
Unable to turn off all information during combat like vulnerable etc.
This is being set to a toggle in S2
Hard to distinguish the difference between color for unique and ancestral items

Sorting/Filter in inventory and Stash
* Being added in S2
Teleporting to dungeon instead of inside it

Timers for world bosses were not up all the time and respawn was 6 hours long usually during working hours for many people
*Cooldown to 3.5 hours with a 1 hour warning and a 15 mins world message in S2
Amount of affixes on gear

The aspect system was and still is a total mess, same icons, no sorting

Lack of end game variety
*5 new endgame bosses added in S2 with targeting specific uniques and uber uniques
The dungeon missions are pathetic and extremely frustrating
*Objectives being streamlined for all dungeons and in some cases completely removed in S2 and mob density being increased
The horse worked like an ass
*S2 has a total rework including 50% reduced cooldown on the sprint, spring breaks barriers, and kbd/mouse control improved in S2
Resistances are not working as intended - pretty much not in the game

Enchantment system is expensive
*Initial cost slightly increased, and all subsequent enchants costs reduced in S2. Lots more gold being given as rewards for Whispers and Helltide chests to compensate.
Gems were dropping all the time and were selling for 4 gold
*Stop picking them up then
MANY skills were not used in most of the builds, skill diversity = none
*More changes incoming changes apparently coming 10th Oct
LOADS of area of effects that spawn on top of each other and block the view of what is happening. MANY of those effects one shot fully geared players.
*Revised in S2 for death wave so it doesn't stack
Dungeon affixes that no one wanted to run because they were broken (cold for example) some affixes were EXTREMELY not group play friendly ( lightning and its protection bubble ) in a game that is suppose to be played in party
*Not a party focused game as there is no party finder, so lots of solo players still. Also, lightning bubble is being reworked so it only procs in combat, only if player has a straight line to the bubble, and once you get struck you get a 30% speed boost for 5 seconds - being added for S2
No dungeon is in hell in Diablo game, all you get is cave,ruins,building,crypt,lair
