Is this a real Diablo game?

I remember kind of being disappointed in Diablo 3 when it came out, I still play D2 (D2R now), and I'm enjoying the new ladder season of D2R. I'm just worried about the botters and dupers, is there cheating in D4?

Game already came out and it's been dead since the first season. It was just another cash grab like diablo immortal.

On Twitch the D4 Category used to have 3 million followers, now it's down to
650k. 2k viewers as im writing this, 1.1k of that is Wudijo who's a content creator for all the diablo games. Other than that every streamer has under 100 viewers. Not many people care to watch or play this game anymore because of how bad it was.

I'm assuming the moment it opens up for reviews people will bomb it.

D4 is close to D2 in many ways except it's just not worth playing.
If you get D4 on a massive sale for more than half it's worth it for the story at the very least (way better than 3). The game is half baked end game wise, and has some really god awful mtx.

I'm in no way saying Diablo 4 is a great game (it is not), but if you're using twitch as a barometer for what you should be playing or whether a game is good then you're a tool.

I'm in no way saying Diablo 4 is a great game (it is not), but if you're using twitch as a barometer for what you should be playing or whether a game is good then you're a tool.

I've already hit 100 on every class, and I got into the top 500 for hardcore players to hit level 100 during the race with pre-order on b.net so I've def put my time in to have a say if the game is good or not.

But my post wasn't about that, my post just pointed out it's a dead game now. They nerf'd barb, rogue, sorc, druid, and no class can solo world bosses anymore in t4, but there's also no players to help kill those world bosses so you have to just ignore them now since the pop dead out.

It wouldn't matter if it was a single player game. But the fact that half the stuff in s2 is going to require random players helping each other to progress it will make it feel bad for those still trying to enjoy the game. Steam might help with the server pop again but I doubt enough people will make it into t4 or have NM100 cleared with good gear.

The only thing I'll say about it being good or bad is that I enjoyed the story and everything up until I hit t4 and then it got boring. The most fun I had was in hardcore pvp after we all hit level 100.

I have no idea what the actual numbers are now since Blizzard stopped sharing that info for all their games after the lawsuit. I'm only comparing it to a month after launch to now. I just logged back in and there was only 6 other people in world t4 I found them and tried to talk but it looks like bots just running helltides probably to RMT for profit since they were all doing the exact same thing and following the same paths, even mounting and dismounting at the exact same time.

According to Google Diablo 2 Resurrected has about an average of 50k daily players whereas currently Diablo 4 has approximately 250k players right now today.

I think it's a shame what happened to D4 - the game as a service model isnt a good look for this title.

I think right now Diablo 2 has more to offer most players.

D4 may become a good game eventually but right now it's not there. The grind after about level 50 is mind-numbing.

Blizzard has never made a good Diablo game. It would be foolish to expect differently now.

Hopefully we get the good Diablo games soon. D2R and I would lose my mind for Diablo 1 with Steam achievements.
