Give your Battle.net customers a Steam key
So we can activate it here and keep on playing like we would on your servers as we do anyway.

I'd be happy if they'll allow to transfer/share progression for Steam, regardless of the price.

Otherwise there is a good chance that I'll wait for XMas and deep discount before (re-)purchasing Steam variant.

This. I dont want to use the blizzard launcher.

No, don't do it. I don't want this crap on my Steam library. It will be a constant reminder of my shame buying it at launch.

They will definitely use the same servers, with the same information. I preordered this at full price and would love to have it in my steam library , but no way I am paying for it again, 4 months after release for no reason.

lol you mean the bethesda app? that was just a crappy launcher

bnet ain't going anywhere as it's an entire ecosystem with its own backend

again, buying a game on microsoft store doesn't give you it for free on steam

Is the save data not stored in the server?

It is confirmed that it will have cross-progression. Sadly as of now, you still need to purchase it here separately.

Progression from where you purchased it earlier at full price and now purchased again only for no reason?

you don't have to buy it again, you can just keep playing through bnet, it's the same game

You will be able to carry over progress from the Battle.net client without question. But yeah there is no way they give out Steam keys to those that own it on Battle.net
Fulgore Oct 4, 2023 @ 4:42pm
They wont, they have confirmed on the official battle net page that you need to buy the game again to have access to Steam.

And they deserve all the negative reviews they ll get.
