Seriously, why are people acting as if they lose access to the game they bought or will get "inconvinienced" (is that a word?) just because they dont get it for free on Steam?
Btw, game is trash. Don't expect end-game content. It's a cheap cash grab season pass mode like any random mobile game. Avoid if you're a true Diablo fan. 99.4% player base is gone and that's the only reason it'll be on Steam. They're desperate. Many claim Diablo IV is already the Biggest failure in video games history.

Look at who makes this game, and then I give you three guesses, but you're only going to need one.
Those wanting to play on Steam will need to first purchase the game on that platform, then connect Diablo IV to a Battle.net account (as we require for all platforms). This enables cross-platform play and more. Players using Steam will have access to features specific to that platform, such as Steam achievements, their Steam friends list, and the option to invite those friends to play in-game. We’re looking forward to seeing more defenders of Sanctuary band together and welcome any feedback you may have.
