Don't worry I like the game even with the bugs but I don't love it enough too buy it again on Steam. I will play Season 2 even buy it but if they don't get it right this time it will be the last one

Only time i re purchased was ps4 game on PC after i upgraded even full price this was only time i did it, even did it multiple times, but if i already have it on battle.net then whats the point in buying it on steam they already let users transfer OW2 technically to steam they can do the same for all other games and yes OW2 is free 2 play but your stuff caries over, they can do the same for diablo 4 this should not require a re-purchase.

I mean, i am all for a good old Blizzard bashing, but some people here just make no sense. So you would have to buy it again, so what? All this would do is either exchange the Battle.net launcher for Steam or, if all the Steamversion does is start the Battle.net launcher, add another launcher on top of it. Maybe i missed something, but there is literally no advantage of switching to the Steam version compared to just playing the game how you used to up to this point, no matter whether or not you have to buy it again. Yet people act as if they are in some way losing out on something by not getting the Steamversion for free.
Like i said, i am all for calling Blizzard (or any dev, for that matter) out on the BS they are pulling. But some of the stuff posted just comes of as trolling aka complaining for the sake of complaining.

I guess its a technical thing. Since OW2 is F2P you can start it without issue all the time and just link / create a Battle.net account. In case of D4 it would require them to change it in a way that starts the game via Steam, then checks on whether or not a legit Battle.net account is linked, and then either let you proceed into the game or block you out of it. All that while still setting it up in the Steamstore as a paid, non F2P game.
Is that even possible for Steam? Is there any game with a setup like that on Steam?

I want the game to be successful they are trying fix the bugs and listening too people but the problems driving players away.
