TL;DR I'll wait for 75% discount playing my Ult version directly through Blizz.
Also I have got numerous of Steam versions of VR games I initially bought on Oculus.
Frontier had the option to generrate a Steam key for Elite Dangerous even if you purchased it from their own store.
Loads of examples to not make this a silly question.
Standard is enough as long as no DLC is out. You just need a client to log in with your account.
Of course it will be free for whoever owns it on Blizzard.
Just running it on Steam Deck is a pita with the Batle.net and Proton.
also Bethesda has let users carry over games to steam which is also owned by Microsoft, so they likely will make this avaible for battle.net owners as well do not re purchase this just wait.
