If Diablo 4 charged me 20 dollars for their game then a warning popped up after I beat the story and it said "sorry, we had development problems, don't bother playing leveling to 100, what you just played was most of our development time" then I would have been okay with buying it. Since I paid a lot more and wasted my time leveling to be disappointed, I feel like Blizz really ripped me.
You wont have a working build even at the end of the campaign.. where the fun starts.. you will dip around the open world finding nothing.. the actual game starts after the campaign... season 2 is kinda decent.. there can be fun here. But the game still has fatal flaws that show once you are done with the campaign.
Your character choice also has a big impact on fun. Druid, Barb and Necro for example only really gets fun at higher lvls once you have some build set. While Sorc and Rogue speed lvl though everything since they are strong without anything and totally break the game once you have a build.
Again. If you arent interested in playing after the campaign.. where the actual game starts. No, hell no. Not fot 50-100 bucks.
Get Grim Dawn instead. But.. if want to play more than the campaign. Yeah buy it. The game is 1-2 seasons away to actually feel like it released out of early access.
I agree this guy's answer is the best. A lot of us are venting b/c of how bad this game actually is in other areas.
How much would the story be worth to you? I would probably say 10-20 dollars at most right?
hmmmmmmmm. Maybe I will reconsider about this and wait for sale...
Yep I've Baldur's Gate 3 and played it for ~ 200 hours or something. Just looking for something else to play xD
Sorry for my English btw.
Wait til season 5 and/or an expansion. Maybe the game will be better then.
Yes, it is in a bad state.
95% of the item affixes aren't worth even looking at. They're just there to waste player time.
Look Baldur's gate looks sexy, but turn based combat? Wtf.
Do not forget most of us played Diablo 3 for a solid half a decade before getting bored, same thing will happen here.
"Don't get attached, it's just casual."
If you don't just rush, but explore a bit and do some side quest content, you will most likely end up at 30-40 hours.
People on here are just childish losers who wanna keep whining about a game they don’t like instead of moving on. They’ll tell you anything like it’s only 10 hours of content. The game has flaws but it’s also fun.
The topic is about campaign. Not " how much is there to do in the game". The only one who seems to be a childish loser is you who has to shill for the game in every single thread.
Yeah there are side quest.. renown blah blub. That wasnt the question tho.
The campaign (ie, single player part) of the game includes side missions and dungeons, as that was put into the game to be played along with the main story to add to the lore and the experience. The main missions are just one aspect of the full story, the same way they are in every other game. Just so you know.
And yes, you are a childish loser who doesn't own the game but still wants to cry about it on the forums. Grow up and move on to another game that you actually like.
