Steam D4 player count is useless as mentioned before absolute majority of people bought the game through Bnet
"On average, Diablo 4 sees about 314,346.00 peak concurrent active players each day. This number can increase during weekends or when new updates or seasons are released."
Even WT 1 HC has a good amount of players...
Steam sheltered blind hating, dude has no idea whats going on.
That site isn't accurate at all. Why are you using it as proof? Their site literally says "All data presented by ActivePlayer.io are all estimated data and should NOT be used as factual reference."
Most that are still interested in playing are either Russian or Chinese, what are the player numbers for America and EU? who are more aware of reviews.
Game is a huge success. You realize how much has been made for shareholders, just from sales. It will live for a long time. Try using "google"
Sad its crashing so much, it ruins the play for me, I hope its fixed in next patch. I'm a streamer leaving PoE forever and want to find something stable to share. Afraid of backlash if I stream this one though.
Nothing worse than playing during a helltide and crashing with 200-300 embers. I can only get 4 living steel chests every time it's active. And if it crashes during one, I lose the chance at 1-2 chests at least and that doesn't even include the fact i may get bugged at the initial start-up screen.
If you are wondering I have a RTX 4080+ and a intel card with a 1GB connection.
Sad about what you guys will write in response to this post but its all true!
It peaked over 12k yesterday and today.
What now?
Let me guess, you'll "prophesy" that the game will be dead in another 2 weeks. This time for sure.
The only problem is that Microsoft shareholders after purchasing ActiBlizz found out that the number of Bnet users didn't grow during the last 10 years, while Steam userbase became twice larger in the same period of time, that's what made Microsoft to push Blizzard into releasing their games on Steam, because large corporations such as Microsoft can actually close any department if doesn't show any growth (even the ones that is doing pretty well).
I just say this - as soon as the number of Game Pass subscribers stops growing or God forbid starts to drop, that same moment Microsoft just pull the lever and close Xbox department for good... They probably already would've done that if it wasn't for Phil Spencer, because Microsoft isn't Sony, Microsoft doesn't have to make games to stay afloat!
So we can assume that almost 2mil refunded or just lost any interest in D4
