Is not a really good game for a console portable.
Best Regards
Phone hotspot
I haven't downloaded the game yet, but sometime tomorrow I will. if you've only got troll responses by then add me and I'll give you a comprehensive comparison.
I play through the battle.net launcher and resolution isn't optimal.
I wonder if it's more optimized or same crap.
Main reason was so I could have the experience as intended and since it is verified, I didn't mind paying again. Not for everyone, but I didn't get on with the workaround and since I've needed to factory reset my deck 3 times now I didn't want the hassle. I'm also deep into the Steam ecosystem so the time played, achievements and the way the social elements work is good.
Its playing a bit better on the Steam Deck than before - I didn't play a ton previously, but it runs smooth at around 60fps. The controls feels better although I'm not sure whats different, but I remember it not feeling as good. It looks fine, set to medium settings - looked a little poor when I loaded in town but once out in the open world looked great.
It feels more optimised but I have nothing to back that up, but felt very much before I was playing a workaround and now feels like a game that's perfect for the deck.
If I'm honest, the patch + steam deck verification + changes in S2 + openness from the devs about how boring the game could get made me want to jump back in.
My largest issue was battery drain. Is it better than before?
I played D4 more on deck than any other platform.
That way I could casually play on the couch and watch movies etc; it's a GREAT game for a portable.
BIG difference, i'm actually mad that i wanna buy this

The game performs way better.
