Online Only till the Servers shut down, going by D2, it would only happen when blizzard would stop existing.

This whole online only mode made me think of POE.
I seem to remember I tried it for 1.4 hours and thought this online only mode is no good.
I was lagging walking around the map.
Then I looked at that forum for some inspiration.
And I noticed someone said-

"Blizzard should be embarrassed offering D4 for 70$ while PoE is free."

no they dont want an ofline mode, we tried to ask it on the blizzard forums but no, they dont listen to their communety, thats why so many hate this game

Instead of Diablo IV on steam, they should add Diablo 2 : Resurrected and players would probably be plenty :)

It's pretty much single player but forced online for antipiracy reasons.

also the in game shop might be some reason

single player does not require online at all

Only way you can play offline, for better or stable game play is on Bnet account. I dont think this Steam can do the trick.

I think I will leave this game on my wishlist UNTIL an offline update is introduced.
We are waiting for a Diablo III offline mode for over 10 years now. Just take it off the wishlist. It will never happen on PC.
