Not only is there no offline mode you're forced to play with other players visible in the world

The bottom of the store page says "Internet connection required to play" it's in really small grey text.

I bought it on Xbox and requested a refund when I found out it was online only and it forced me to create a third-party account. I'll stick with Diablo 3.

Although I have not played recently , i always thought Diablo 2 Modded game was fabulous. There is so many different mods for that game that play differently. And using Ddraw some nifty graphic effects can be introduced with shaders.

And every single player you encounter you load their entire inventory including their stash tab, their home address, their fears, their dreams, their aspirations... their entire life story. It's the reason they can't add more stash tabs too the game.

I think we both know that will never be included and saying that is just a hidden message hoping a dev will see it and make the change. However unlikely, I say good luck as I feel every game should have an offline option unless its multiplayer.
