Transfer battle.net folders to steam?

as the titles says im about to buy this game on steam as i was playing the free trial on bnet and enjoyed it alot but prefer my games on steam. Does anyone know how i would be able to transfer the game folder to steam so i dont have to re download it for another 2 hours?

my internets 500mb per sec but id rather not sit there and download it for like a hour when i could just transfer the game files over in 5 mins and be playing????

I was in the same boat, I did the free trial but wanted to buy it on steam instead of BNET so I had 2 diablo 4 installs on my computer. There's no way around it, you have to reinstall it.

Did your progress from the Free trial transfer to steam when you installed it via steam

Nah i dont know whats up with my steam and bnet but they love maxing out at 50mb per sec and not going higher even though i set the limit to 800

Dude, you have a 500 Mega Bit internet speed, and it downloads and Max 50 Mega Bytes. Mb (Megabits) is a measure of speed, MB (Megabytes) is a measure of size, not the same. It is running at its intended speed.

to get the download speed you have to divide 500 by 8 which is 62.5 so it isn't downloading at the intended speed like you claim. He/she should be able to download at 62.5 megabytes.
