What class requires the least effort?
Like what class should I play if I just want to watch a video on the side? Or chill with my friends while playing? I want to spend as little time as possible thinking about the game. I just want to mindlessly grind. What class/build should I go for?

Necromancer Summoner while using Sever from a distance. Literally just send your Iron Golem into the mob, backed up by your skeleton warriors to keep aggro off you, while you and and the skeleton mages just blast them from a distance. If you wanna get more bang for your buck, hit every enemy with the Iron Maiden debuff that makes them take more damage if cursed, then use Corpse Explosion with the darkness modifier to make them take multiple dot attacks at once. Invest heavily into the passives that buff your minions, since this is a minion build. Season 2 legendaries are a dime a dozen right now, so find the ones that increase your skeleton damage and get ones that give you damage buffs if you don't move, as well as ones that give you buff if your health is above 80%.. Very easy to play and it's very strong in World Tier 2. You are squishy though, so it'll take some practice to avoid taking damage. You can switch to the Skeleton warriors with shields to take less damage, but by 40ish, you should be able to avoid damage mostly.

Yes but there is going to be a least amount of effort involved class. I will have to put in some effort I know. I am just going for as little as possible.
the point is you aren't watching netflix while playing this one, if you take your eyes off the screen for 1 second you'll die to bad positioning. this isn't easy mode diablo 3 anymore.

Are we playing two different versions of Diablo 4 ? Because Diablo 4 is exactly that, mindless grinding the same trash nmd or events on wt4. Its even worse than Diablo 3 and yes you can watch netflix next to it and dont give two flying ♥♥♥♥♥ about what is happening in D4.

If you struggle this hard on wt4 you are seriously doing something extremely wrong.

The only time I actually had to focus on the game just a little bit was, when I was fighting Uber Duriel. That's it.

Once you get on WT4 and built up, sure. There are hours and hours of leveling during which you'll probably have to pay some attention to the game to not die all the time.

Probably necro, maybe some Druid builds; Sorc might have some options too now that resistances are fixed as I had a level 73 ice build that was pretty resilient as long as I didn't get frozen.

Just keep in mind the builds that you can semi-afk (like watching movies etc) will be WAY slower because you will need to focus on defense stats and abilities.

IDK why anyone is trying to say you can't play this game and not give it 100% attention; I got to level 84 on a blood necro that can plant and face tank most situations even in WT4 unless something major changed since last I played.

Season events with the keys reduces this time to a good 30-40 minutes riding around on your horse once you get to a new tier. The gear you can get doing this will ease your entry into WT4 greatly. D4 and D3 have similar difficulties with regards to pushing. D4 10+ level difference in a NMD is about the same level of focus as greater rift pushing in D3. But I question pushing NMD in D4, you only need high enough to get decent glyph XP as there's no leaderboards.

Maybe, but are two new players going to do that? Do they even have access to it?
I would assume the first time out they'd play through the campaign.
