Diablo 4 crash
Hello everyone. My game was crashed to desktop couple times with error: "Diablo IV detected corrupted data and was unable to automatically repair the damage. Please run Scan and Repair using the Battle.net Application. It can be found in the Options menu for the game."

Did someone have this issue? Bnet official message is https://prnt.sc/tNfSQ8zY2vky But it's weird cause first - it's Steam version of the game, and also it's fresh installed game with few updates after Steam release. I can't get what files could be corrupted.

If some are crashing in the intro video, delete a file called dstorage.dll in the main game folder, that could be the root cause of your crash.

The game crashes at least one or multiple times whenever I get to the first Diablo screen. Its crashed 5 times in a row now. Very annoying.

Mine isn't freezing during the boot-up screen, it gives me this message after playing for 10 min or so. I have tried verifying files, and uninstalling and re-installing the game. Still won't play for longer than 10 minutes, and it says files are corrupt. all official fixes are for the battle.net version of the game, but I bought on steam. Works fine on my steamdeck, but not on PC.

You are aware, that even if the game is bought via Steam, you still need Bnet account, and the Steam version is basically the Bnet version started via Steam? I mean, it's obvious, right on the Steam store page of D4.

So maybe go into Bnet and do the repair as it asks you to?

I bought the game at release on Bnet, and could even play with that account without problems during the free trial week (no restrictions if you owned the Bnet version), although I had to redownload the game through steam (could probably have done some copy/paste of the Bnet install to reduce download, but well, got enough disk space and good internet so just didn't care ^^).

In your Steam library, right-click on D4, click Manage, click Browse local files. The main game folder will pop up in the Windows explorer.
