If it helps I struggled to in the beginning, I have a one level 20 now working on next. My advice make sure you are in Solo Q and stick to the outside goblin encampments or houses. If you are getting camped at extraction points try one of the less used ones, like Bridge or coin. One takes 100 gold, which can be collected from goblins. Bridge takes the Goblin Lever, which drops from Goblins randomly. Once you get Tailor to level 2 you can make new soul bags to keep needed materials like wood and ore for upgrading your lodge. Stay away from middle area if you can, that is where all the try hards are looking for easy ganks while someone is low health from higher mobs.

Play rogue - thanks to nerfs you won't be able to kill anyone soon BUT you will be able to run the most easily among all classes. Stick with edges of the map, avoid middle zone or big objects (boss area, ruins, castle, cementary etc). Gather all the ♥♥♥♥ you can and run to extraction. Pay attention to your surroundings - specially when you loot.

yeah, solo helped a lot to get started. im enjoying the game. i did get a strange extraction bug today but i didnt lose my character. just had to restart.
