Devs said they will not add a PvE mode

They arent thinking of one, They arent adding one, It isnt their vision, They dont care that there have literally been hundreds and hundreds of requests for it

Its simply not something they care about.

They want the game to be PvP only.

Even though a PvE thread pops up literally every 10 minutes with dozens and dozens of new people (especially now because of free weekend) asking for PvE mode, dosent matter.

No PvE here - Ever

Only PvP

Hopefully the free weekend pulled in all those errant PvP players who will surely buy the game now

If true, they're making a mistake. Even though the game obviously has some serious optimization issues and I'm unwilling to risk my PC for that atm, I was also thinking that this game could thrive on additional co-op and PVE modes. Make them have varying and lesser levels of loot and keep the PVP modes with the best stuff. If that doesn't make sense to the devs, well, it's 2025 and I am no longer surprised by much in this industry...

Klaus - a dev, posted explicitly this answer in another thread I made lamenting the addition of some form of PvE or punishment light change option upon the release of season one.

well because they have plans to develop a full MMO mode that will be PVE. So yeah they aren't going to turn this extraction mode into pve because of the mmo part

Well, they won't be getting my money then. Game has a great feel in the Tutorial. Just came here to find out if you can play solo PVE only. Seeing that you can't and the devs are being jerks about it. SO, moving on to a different game. No money from me.

Pro Tip for the Devs... If a vast majority of your players are wanting something as simple as not having to be raped by other players non-stop, you might want to listen. No listening is how you lose revenue and players. Too bad, because I really enjoyed the tutorial and the overall aesthetic of the game. Oh well.

I dont think that I ever saw in one of the dozens of dev talks any dev mentioning the pve or softcore pvp as something important. The talked about the grass, the sky, how many apple the apple tree drops, the penis size of the warrior but it seems that pve is not that important to them.

Welp. They can enjoy having fifty odd players at any given time, then. Because I have a strong suspicion that a vast VAST amount of people playing right now are Free Weekenders, and I sincerely doubt the extraction shooter crowd is that big to even consider investing their time into this.

They all seem more obsessed with ARC Raiders at the moment. At least until another shiny game comes out.

thank god!!! there is literally thousands and thousands of PvE games out there and more every month! they can play those we have way to few great pvp RPGs! this is one of the gems!
