I mean, I fence longsword in real life and I can perfectly move during attacks in any direction lol.
I don’t blame people for wanting more quality at this price, but leaving a negative review because of server issues 15 minutes into launch is a prime example of why Valve needs to overhaul the review system so games like this are not immediately buried in negativity that is hard to recover from.
It’s going to take a lot of work and advertising to turn this into a success. Hope the devs don’t just abandon it because there’s a great game here, given time.
Absolutely agree.
A few hours in and people on reddit were screeching that this is a cash grab and the devs have run away with our money. Lmao. People are absolutely irredeemably dumb.
If the dev's run away, they will have a "small" short term income. They will also face a massive reputation damage. If they fix the game and improve it, playerbase will increase and it will create a larger long term income.
Something these people on Reddit doesn't understand. It's now all in the hands of the developer how populair this game will be, by improving and fixing the game and keep the amount of hackers to the lowest. If they succeed, they will definitely generate way more income. So, no reason just to "run away".
The team has done a lot in the past 6 months and I hope they continue to treat this as a test bed for getting updates out quickly to the community. I'd rather try out unfinished features and provide direct feedback than waiting months for any significant changes. When you have a low population and believe in your work, then you should start taking risks so the final product can be the best possible iteration.
Extraction points are way too far and heavily camped. Agreed.
The map is tiny actually.
Much smaller than Hunt maps or the bigger tarkov maps.
