Game not lauching
I need help, the game opens, but when the warning screen comes out the buttons to accept or quit don't work the game doesn't respond and when I opened the task manager to close it it worked it took me straight to the game without going through the menu or anything I played like 10 min until I got to the shower, the game crashed and since then it doesn't work I reinstalled it and now every time it opens it only comes out The warning that crashed and nothing else happens from there.

I have a I5 12th gen and a RTX 4060

Hello,

Please try the following:

Go to User/Appdata/local and delete Project Werewulf folder. Might UE generated a wrong d3d file, or if you had the previous demo installed, it also could cause trouble rarely.

Also make sure that you have the latest GPU driver installed. If you have any third party antivirus or performance monitoring software, turn them off, Unreal Engine is really sensitive about that.

Usually Steam install latest DX and Visual C++, but check if you have the latest version installed. ( these are hard dependencies for Unreal Engine )

If you can, joint to our Discord, there you can have help faster.

Hello,
It can be also resolution issue - few player have confirmed it -, if you have any "uncommon" resolution, wide screen example or multiple monitor.

Please change your desktop resolution to something more "common", like 1080p/2k, and try this way.

Im gonna change that waning screen to make it automatically disappear after 5 sec. Patch coming latest on friday.

If you need any further help, join to our Discord, there is easier and faster to communicate.

I've got 1920 x 1080 by default; tried others and at different scales, no dice. Computer runs Wild Life, Delta Zone, modded Skyrim and FO4, pretty much anything else I've tried. Not sure what else could be going on.
64 bit, 8gb RAM, got a 1650.

Game should run on low quality on your rig - that 8 GB ram migh be not enough tho -, but this warning screen issue is nothing to do with that.

Do you have any third party antivirus or performance monitoring software? Also please try alt-tab, then click on the screen.

If nothing helps, please wait until tomorrow, im gonna release a patch and makes that warning screen to disappear after a few sec automatically.

Thank you!

None of that is the issue.
The issue is that it is not registering the left click. The continue and exit buttons can be scrolled over and will highlight just fine, it is just that clicking them does absolutely nothing.

As you can see, the original poster have solved it with a driver update, some other player on discrod had this because of multiple monitors, and another had this because of an uncommon resolution. While this is a really rare issue and i can not even reproduce it, im not sure what causing it, and from the ~ 30k people who played the demo, only just a few reported it.

Problems like this can appear because of many reasons - see also the UE releated issues topic -, like because of the different rigs/third party softwares/windows/divers. ( might you could try one of the solution there )

As i said, tomorrow im gonna release a patch what makes this widget disappear automatically.

Thank you for your patient!
