Do Powerlegs make Stimulant obsolete?
Or do they work well together? My inventory is full at the moment and I am looking for items that I no longer have use for.

I think they work together

Furthermore, they make an excellent triple combination with Yakety Sax. C-:

Ha! +1 for the Benny Hill imagery.

I almost never use stimulants. My accuracy decreases so much that the the gain of health (from outrunning more damage, not because stimulants give you health, which they don't) fails to offset the loss of ammo.

But Powerlegs are absolutely the way to go. The increase in speed while aiming is just enough that you'll be able to mostly stay ahead of the aiming/pursuit of most enemies.

It seems that powerlegs grant you +100% speed. You shouldn't need stimulants that much. I would only use stimulants for the lv5 boss or when you get ambushed and/or blocked off and need to reposition. If you get a motor save it for the minigun, if you want the legs wait untill you find another motor if you do.

Why would you craft a minigun though? You're guaranteed to get one for free in the final level anyway, and using it on anything but the final boss is a bit of a waste. Meanwhile I'd say powerlegs are worth it even just for the reduced time it takes to finish levels.

You want to craft the minigun because not having it will hamper your effectiveness in certain situations because you dont have the DPS to do it in a safer way. That stated you dont want to do full auto on it. I fire it only as much as i need to. Im super conservative on ammo.

Hm. The only situation I can think of where it could come in handy is at the start of the reactor coolant system level. If you just take the military software route instead, you'll never need that kind of firepower.
