Late-game sinistros
Even mid-game, those doesn't seem viable at all or am i missing something?
They go down at most in 1-2 turns...

Trying to figure the same thing out. For a whole class gimmick it seems useless.

They get targeted a lot because they're actually pretty strong if they stay on the board.
The way I see it, that's 1 hit you're not taking in the face.

But it all depend on which xelor you're playing and what you want to do with sinistros

Well, i want them to do anything useful at all
So far i've never been able to tranform them or got much use except teleporting with wind sinistro. Then they get destroyed.
Earth/air could stay alive a bit if placed in a corner and you aggro mobs on yourself, but fire/earth supposed to be in the thick of it to do damage, yeah good luck with that
Yeah I am currently at lvl 35 and most summoned things just kinda die in a turn or two. Be it sinistros, companions or anything inbetween.

Feels like the devs want everyone to be Iop.
Xelors in general just suck with their inferior mechanics and other classes are just better in every way.

For example tele xelors do 30% damage up to 60% damage twice at level 30 per teleport.
Scaple-heal Eni does 35% damage up to 70% damage twice at level 30 per heal.

Eni can heal 4-5 times just by attacking and I've seen 8 heals on round 2.
Meanwhile tele xelors can do 3-5 teleports on round 2.

Why do games love punishing wizards lately?

Feels like Xelor was balanced around the Tentacle Mage passive, so they brought everything else down.

i say tentacle boy is pretty good tho i feel he could use a class passive that allows him to draw 2 spellsinstead of 1 every turn as your burn trough your spells really quick whit all those reserves you can easely start stacking

Gurpapa Xelor can combo with Exactitude to have a 13 AP turn where they drop all their Sinistros and use Gurpapa Explosion to do an absurd amount of damage. But yeah, you want to do something like this since they won't survive otherwise. I'm also using Gurpapa Transformation to give them all extra armor and they sometimes live through a round or two like that, but it's definitely less optimal than playing full combo.

Also the companion Lou draws all your 3 cost cards on summon, and since all your sinistros and Gurpapa Explosion cost 3 it is a full reset.

Does "Flame Return" per chance stack with class passive "Tako Concentration"? Or it is based on amount of Chrono played? Does it count while offhand?
What about Equinox?

the way I see it in late game is that low damage spell are negligeable
instead of spending 3 action point to do very little damage you get a free shield instead

Like all big "ether spells", flame return is a spell with a counter.
Each time you trigger the effect "chrono" with a spell, the counter goes up by 1, whether or not flame return is in your hand.

Flame return deals your attack damage with a multiplier, therefore it is not affected by spell damage.

Is late game even allows "spell gamestyle", or it is all about attack multiplers?

Depends on the weapon (character)
Right now the top-tier weapons are mostly "I build up as much attack as possible" but not exclusively.
Some top-tier weapons are "I trigger as many effects as possible".

It is however possible to play heavily on spells but some weapons won't reach lvl 100 quests.
(I'm really not sure it's intended that some of them can clear lvl 100 quests once they reach level 30 anyway.....)
