It could be that the deck you put together doesn't gel all that well with itself, or that the equipment you have isn't all that great, or even that you need to simply respec and put a single point into that nice +50% HP instead of the small buffs. There's lots of ways but don't worry, you've got this :D
Note: Enemies in dungeons do not scale as well as you do but the exp level scales just fine. If you are having trouble with certain dungeon levels, don't be afraid to lower the tier of the fight so you can get more exp to level up more spells and the like. Sometimes it might even be good to not level sync a new tier of fights as the next tier might be easier for you to fight (a la, whispers disarm mechanic)
Very fortunate that the respect - at least for now - is affordable enough to spam. A shame that there's no way to assign certain skill trees to each of your three decks right now, though.
With regards to character development, I strongly recommend spending the first 50 levels on pumping Health and Attack - Since items and spells are extremely difficult to level up due to random drops.
And how we get stronger in this game is totally based on the loot box system (which itself, creates a huge imbalances of power). So we are at the mercy of RNG on how our characters get stronger and more powerful. Luck is required to advance in this game. The lucky ones advanced faster, the unlucky ones might get stuck at places for a long time due to lack of upgrades and proper gears/spells. (Which simply means, hard work in this game doesn't always paid off, and there's a high chance that your time will be wasted due to an unlucky RNG roll)
The game isn't that hard.
